I am a project manager for a small open source software development outfit based in the UK. I have been a linux user on and off for about 10 years. I have no loyalty to any particular platform and will use whatever works. Increasingly, I am finding Linux fulfilling all my work and leisure computing needs. In this blog, I will no doubt waffle on about software design, design in general and Xubuntu – my favourite flavour of Ubuntu Linux. What’s the point you may ask? Well, let me tell you. I want to practice typing so a blog is perfect. Also, I want to record my experiences so I don’t have to go through Linux configuration file hell repeatedly. And that’s about it. Look – I’m not holding a gun to your head.
